PROVIDER CREDENTIALING

Madix PSC offers provider credentialing and credential maintenance for both new and established providers.

Credentialing requirements are ever changing. Newly established guidelines and deadlines for most carriers have made this function more time intensive and detailed. New providers, providers leaving their current practice, or providers changing their location of service will require new credentialing. Established providers or practice managers short on time will enjoy the prospect of outsourcing this time intensive duty. Madix PSC credentialing staffers have decades of experience in the credentialing arena, are well versed in the nuances associated with this service, and experts at expediting the credentialing process. The constant exposure of our staff to the ever-changing guidelines and requirements, yield expedited and superiorly accurate results.

Initial Credentialing Service

Madix PSC credentialing staff will prepare a comprehensive list of all the documentation required to complete the Client’s requested credentialing applications. Madix PSC staff will offer direction in the preparation of the required documentation, as well as verify that the documentation meets established guidelines. Once the documentation is complete and forwarded to Madix PSC, the credentialing staff will compile, and make digital copies of the required information. The applications with appropriate documentation will be processed and forwarded to the appropriate agency. Madix PSC staff will then make regular follow-ups and status inquiries to the credential provider in order to avoid delays, and encourage expedited processing if possible. Upon completion of the process, Madix PSC staff will place the provider credential in queue for maintenance as is required for each credential (quarterly, biannually, annually, etc.)

Maintenance Credentialing Service

The Maintenance Credentialing Service is in effect after the initial credentialing process is complete. The data collection and storage procedures are the same as those of the Initial Credentialing Service. The main difference between the two services is that the effort required for constant follow-ups and status inquiries is not required for maintenance. The maintenance process occurs based on each credentialing entities updating requirements.
